EurKEY / the european keyboard layout

List of possible changes and known bugs
---------------------------------------
? Exchange the diacritics ù,ú/Ù,Ú and ò,ó/Ò,Ó
  Pro: - ú and ù would be below u. (+5)
          - All derivates of A (a,æ,å,ä,à,á) are on the very left.
All derivates of O (o,œ,ø,ö,ò,ó) would be on the very right. (+5)
Contra: - 'i' is to the left of 'o' like 'ìí' is to the left of 'òó'. (-5)
          - à, è, ì, ò, ù are (almost) alphabetically ordered from left to right.(-1)
          - e and è have the same distance like u and ù -> not important!        (±0)
          - The neighboured 'ìí' and 'òó' are not used in french. (-2)

? Exchange the diacritical ì,í/Ì,Í and è,é/È,É
Pro: - The now difficult to reach keys èé would be in the center line. (+3)
          - ìí are not used in french. (±0)
          - àèìòù would be ordered. (unsure)
Contra: - The distances of e/è and u/ù are equal -> not important! (±0)

± Result: Change both.

? Make ‚ (CTRL+ALT_GR+8) a compose key for east european characters and ç.
Pro: - A lot more european characters. (+3)
Contra: - "Slower" typing due to a new composing key. But the ‚ character
is not used often anyway. (-1)

± Result: Make it a compose key.

? Create a portugese version
Due to the fact that most people from Europe are natively typing german,
and due to the fact, that the french tréma (ë,ï,ü,ÿ) exists, EurKEY produces
  umlauts (ä, ë, ï, ö, ü, ÿ) by typing ALT_GR in combination with a vowel.
However, in french the tréma is not needed often, unlike the circumflex.
  That's why ALT_GR with a vowel produces in the french version (â, ê, î, ô, û).
In both versions it's still easy to create the missing letters using ALT_GR+6
  (for ^) resp. ALT_GR+';' (for ¨).
The portugese alphabet has these diacritics: á,â,ã,à,ç,é,ê,í,ó,ô,õ,ú,ü.
  The problematic diacritics are â, ã, ô, õ, ê, ü.

± Result: I have no idea about portugese.
